(LAFAYETTE) - Two Tippecanoe County boaters are recovering after Lafayette Fire Department members rescued them after their canoes capsized on the flooded Wabash River Sunday night.
Authorities rescued the men who were among five people canoeing on the river.
All of the boaters were wearing life jackets and three managed to paddle to Shamrock Pack, but authorities say two of the men floated downstream and were found beneath a bridge where they were brought to safety.
