(INDIANAPOLIS) The 7-year-old that was hit Wednesday night by a vehicle that left the scene if fighting for his life.
Jessica Hayes of WISH TV reports that Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the area of East Troy Avenue and South Walcott Street around 9:20 p.m
IMPD spokesman Officer Kendale Adams says the child was struck by a vehicle that then left the scene.
David Lopez suffering from serious head injuries, a broken femur and a fractured pelvis. He is listed in critical condition at Riley Hospital For Children.
That accident was at the intersection of East Troy
Police say the vehicle, an older modeled, maroon colored, possibly Delta 88, was last seen heading eastbound on Troy. They do not have a good description of the driver.
