(JOHNSON COUNTY) - Authorities in Johnson County say an accident shut down Ind. 37 Friday afternoon.
One person needed to be extricated from a vehicle following the crash at Ind. 37 and Bluff Aker's Drive, police say.
There was serious injury involved, although the number of patients wasn't immediately clear.
Ind. 37 southbound was completely shut down. Wreckers were called to the scene and arrived shortly before 2:30 p.m. The highway was closed for about an hour.
