(JOHNSON COUNTY) - A bicyclist was flown to an area hospital after being struck by a car in Johnson County early Sunday morning.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Department says a motorist traveling south on U.S. 31 in the Amity area struck a bicycle that was driving along the highway around 1 a.m.
The bicyclist was taken by Lifeline to IU Health Methodist Hospital in an unknown condition.
The 30-year-old driver of the car was taken in for a blood draw. Results are pending.
