(INDIANAPOLIS) - Crews were investigating a gas spill on the city’s north side Sunday evening.
100 gallons of gas spilled out into the street after a gas pump started overflowing, officials with the Indianapolis Fire Department said.
The spill happened at a gas station near the intersection of Illinois and 30th Streets near the Children's Museum.
A worker was attempting to change a filter when the gas pump started pumping uncontrollably, IFD said.
Officials confirmed this area would be closed to traffic and did not say how long it would take to clean up the spill.
No injuries were reported.
