(INDIANAPOLIS) - A Speedway mom who was arrested for leaving her child alone pleaded guilty to one court of neglect of a dependent Monday.
Talisha Evans received a sentence of 545 days served with 519 days suspended and a credit for 13 days. She has to serve 519 days on probation and was ordered to 80 hours of community service. She was also told to take a parenting class, which she has completed.
Evans was arrested and charged in December after motel guests found her 14-month-old toddler left alone.
