(OAKLAND CITY) - An Oakland City woman was arrested Thursday morning after she injured her partner with a knife.
27-year-old Samantha Robbins was arrested around 2:40 p.m. at the residence she shared with 24-year-old Sarah Bruce.
When police responded to a 911 hang-up call, they found Bruce sitting on the couch with a bloody nose and a laceration to her neck.
Robbins was also present.
When officers tried to take Robbins outside, she attempted to flee. She was restrained and handcuffed after a brief struggle.
Police say that an argument broke out between Robbins and Bruce. When Bruce called 911, Robbins tried to take the phone away and threatened Bruce by holding a knife to her throat.
Police say, Bruce was able to get the knife away from Robbins and hide it next to the couch.
Bruce suffered minor injures and was treated at Princeton General Hospital.
Robbins was booked into the Gibson County Jail on a charge of domestic battery. She is being held without bond.
