(WEST LAFAYETTE) - West Lafayette police arrest two suspected drug dealers and remove around $3,000 of heroin from the streets during a Sunday traffic stop.

According to a news release from the agency, officers from Lafayette and West Lafayette arrested Tawanah Price and Ryan Jeffers, both 29.

Officers arrested Price, charging her with dealing in a narcotic drug. Jeffers was also arrested for conspiracy to deal in a narcotic drug.

Officers, with assistance from police K9, confiscated 75 individual baggies of heroin each with an approximate street value of $40 dollars.
