(CLEVELAND) - Police activity picked up significantly Tuesday afternoon at the Cleveland home where three missing women were found alive.
At about 3 p.m. Tuesday, FBI agents and police removed the storm door from the house on Seymour Avenue.
The nearly two dozen investigators - most who appeared to be FBI agents - were wearing white hazmat/contaminant suits, masks, gloves and booties as they wrapped the door in black plastic. Crews also set up a green tent in the yard where they're processing evidence collected at the scene.
Police also brought in a K-9 unit to help with the investigation. And at about 4:15 p.m., police brought a tow truck to the house. It's not clear yet how the dog or truck are helping investigators.
According to Cleveland police, the search was part of a search warrant for the investigation, and other locations will be searched.
NewsChannel5 reporter Kristin Volk said there was not much police activity in the morning, but detectives have since been all over the property.
The three women, Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight were rescued Monday night after getting the attention of neighbor Charles Ramsey, who helped free them from the home. All three women had been reported missing - the longest being Knight since 2002.
Police arrested three brothers -- Ariel, Pedro and Oneil Castro - in connection with the kidnappings. All three are being held and awaiting charges.
