(TERRE HAUTE) - The Vigo County Sheriff’s Department say that a pickup truck is likely tied to a rape.
Jon Swaner, of WTHI reports, a woman said three men raped her in the Fowler Park Wilderness Area off Bono Road back in late April.
They then drove off in a two-tone blue Chevrolet or GMC pick-up described as late 70's early 80's, in rough condition with having rust on the lower body.
Vigo County's Chief Deputy says no matter how small your tip may seem, police still want to hear from you.
"The smallest bit of information is important to us. It's small pieces of the puzzle that are put together by investigators that create a large picture," said Vigo County Chief Deputy, Clark Cottom.
Park security reports seeing a similar truck in the area at the time the alleged rape occurred.
The Sheriff's Department plans to increase patrols through Fowler Park for the entire summer.
