(BROOKSTON) - Indiana State Police say troopers are investigating a pickup truck being shot at while traveling on Interstate 65 near Lafayette.
Police say three people were inside the truck when it was hit Sunday evening while northbound approaching the Indiana 18 interchange about 15 miles north of Lafayette.
No one was injured as police say the bullet went through the passenger-side door window and out the rear window behind the driver.
State police asked that anyone who knows of target shooting or other activity in the rural area to report it to troopers.
