(NEW CASTLE) - Two people were arrested Tuesday following a nearly-month long meth investigation in New Castle.
On April 9, officials searched a home in the 2300 block of Cherrywood in New Castle. On scene, officers arrested 48-year-old John McCarty for manufacturing meth within 1000 feet of a school.
Officers continued to investigate the home and arrested two women Tuesday night.
Two women who used to live at the home were arrested. Lisa Millis,53, and her 21-year-old daughter, Casey Millis were taken to the Henry County Jail.
Both women are facing charges of manufacturing meth within 1000 feet of a school, possession of meth, and possession of precursors used in the manufacture of meth.
