(INDIANAPOLIS) - Civil and criminal charges could be coming against the owner of an Indianapolis social club after four people were shot at that club early Sunday morning.
Nobody was seriously injured in the early Sunday morning shooting that took place at a Sweet 16 birthday party at 1913 North 46th Street.
According to our partners at the Indianapolis Star, police have visited the building eight times since February 2012. Those incidents include: unlicensed alcohol sales, fights, and Molotov cocktails.
Those living near the social club say they are used to seeing problems around there.
"We were walking down the street and we seen a lot of activity like sirens, colors, police cars and the works and I thought to myself, 'That's typical.' So I just ignored it," Janalya Collins said.
Police are hoping to bring charges against the club owner, but it's not clear when those charges would be filed.
