(INDIANAPOLIS) - The death of a woman found inside a burning home has officially been ruled a homicide, police said.
Metro police said they suspected foul play last week in the death of Marsha Bright, 38, but officers confirmed to RTV6 Monday that Bright's death was a homicide.
Bright was found dead Wednesday when fire crews responded to a fire at the Whispering Pine Apartment Complex in the 4400 block of North High School Road near 38th Street.
Investigators said Bright's 2005 black Jeep was stolen at the time of the fire, but was recovered later that night in the 7000 block of Knobwood Lane.
Officials have not released Bright's cause of death.
