Fishers Will Receive City Status In 2015

(FISHERS) - The town of Fishers will become a city on January 1, 2015.

Fishers will elect its first city mayor, city council members and city clerk during the 2014 general election year.

Candidates for the positions within the city offices will be nominated at the primary election in May of 2014.
