(INDIANAPOLIS) - A gas station attendant found a person shot to death early Saturday morning.
Indianapolis Metro Police were dispatched to the Shell Gas Station at 25th Street and Keystone Avenue at around 3:40 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found a person dead from a gunshot wound. Officials say the man was found just a short distance from his car.
Police believe the victim died at the scene.
Homicide and crime lab are conducting an investigation. With heavy rain and storms overnight, police say the weather is giving investigators some trouble.
Officials say they are unsure of the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
