(INDIANAPOLIS) - Hoosiers want immigration reform, according to poll results released on Thursday by three organizations.
The immigration reform bill is set to be debated by the U.S. Senate this week. According to the poll results, 69 percent of Hoosiers strongly or somewhat support that bill.
Also, 62 percent of people polled said they "strongly or somewhat support a bill that includes a tough but fair path to citizenship."
A large majorly -- 92 percent -- said it's important that the U.S. fix its immigration system this year.
The poll was sponsored by Alliance for Citizenship, Partnership for a New American Economy and Republicans for Immigration Reform.
