(INDIANAPOLIS) - A man was arrested early Sunday morning after he was found screaming and running naked on the city’s west side.
WISH TV8 reports, officers were called to the 3400 block of West Washington Street around 12:45 a.m. to check on the welfare of a person.
According to the police report, when officers arrived they found a pair of shoes of the sidewalk. The officers continued forward, and found a trail of clothes.
First officers found a sock with a pair of jean shorts. As they continued further, a pair of boxer shorts and two shirts were located.
Police say someone was heard screaming. The officer then looked to his left, and saw a naked man, running around in a parking lot.
The 30-year-old man ran toward the squad car screaming, and attempted to get inside of the locked vehicle.
He told officers he had been out with friends, and was walking home when he got excited and hot, so he took his clothes off, according to the report.
Officers say this was the second time this occurred in recent weeks with the man. He was taken to Wishard Detention.
