(NEW PALESTINE) - Police in New Palestine say a man stole a Riley Kids donation bucket from a gas station earlier this week.
Detectives say two white males in a white or silver Dodge pick-up pumped $20 worth of gas at the Speedway gas station at 5058 West US 52, then entered the store. One of the men stole the Riley donation bucket from the counter, which contained approximately $50-60.
The theft happened Tuesday afternoon around 4 pm.
The suspect was wearing blue jeans and a teal and white striped shirt and had a shaved or balding head and mustache. The driver of the truck has glasses, long hair and a scruffy beard. He was wearing blue jeans, a gray or white shirt and brown work boots.
Police are trying to identify the men and are asking anyone with information to contact the New Palestine Police Department at (317) 861-4225.
Earlier this month, a man was arrested for stealing a Riley Kids donation bucket at a gas station in Lebanon.
