(JOHNSON COUNTY) - Interstate 65 northbound was shut down early Thursday morning after a person was struck and killed.
Indiana State Police and the Johnson County Sheriff were called to the scene of a person struck on I-65 near Whiteland Road.
Officers say a man was struck by a vehicle and died at the scene. Police say the motorist did stop for State Police.
Northbound lanes of the interstate were shut down. There was no timeline for when lanes would reopen.
Southbound lanes were not affected.
