(INDIANAPOLIS) - Officials with Indianapolis Animal Care and Control were at a home on the city’s south side to serve a warrant and seize hundreds of rabbits.
Officials report that there were approximately 375 rabbits in the home. Some of the rabbits were show rabbits, some were used as feeder rabbits for reptiles and others were to be given to people as pets.
Officials said the rabbits were in good condition but the living conditions were unsanitary.
