(CENTER POINT) - The U.S. Department of Agriculture is taking over the investigation of a woman who was mauled by a tiger at a large cat rescue center.
The victim was cleaning an area of the Exotic Feline Rescue Center in Center Point when a tiger got out of his cage and attacked her Friday afternoon.
21-year-old Marissa Dub is listed in serious condition at an Indianapolis hospital.
A witness told police the tiger had Dub's head in its mouth. She suffered a fractured jaw and other injuries.
Officials said the tiger was a male named Raja who had been at the center for around 10 years.
