Woman Sentenced, Banned From Owning Animals

(MUNCIE) - A Muncie woman who threw a life puppy into the trash has been sentenced.

36-year old Shemika Robinson was convicted of animal cruelty for throwing the puppy into the trash in February.

She's been sentenced to 180 days in jail and is banned from owning any animals in the future.
