Woman's Body Found In White River In Owen County

(FREEDOM) - Investigators are trying to identify a female body found in the White River in Owen County Wednesday.

The Owen County Sheriff's Department says the body was discovered by a group of individuals near Freedom.

The body was recovered from the river and is being investigated by the Owen County Coroner's Office to attempt to determine the woman's identity.

There was no other information released about the body or a possible cause of death.
