(UNION CITY) - An 8-year-old eastern Indiana boy has died from injuries he suffered when hit by a baseball during practice.
Dylan Williams was at Little League All-Star practice in Union City.
The principal of Williams' elementary school said Williams was on first base, and a teammate threw a ball to him that he didn't know was coming. The ball hit Williams in the back of the neck and he immediately went down and stopped breathing.
The Marion County Coroner confirmed that Williams died of blunt force trauma.
