(JOHNSON COUNTY) - Eight people were arrested early Saturday morning after what deputies call an underage drinking party in Johnson County.
Officers responded to a home in the 5400 block of Lacy Court shortly after 2 a.m. after dispatchers were notified of a large underage drinking party, according to a police report.
After obtaining a search warrant, police say small groups of people began coming out of the home, 25 individuals in total.
Officers then separated the individuals into two groups - one for those under 18 years old and another for over 18 - before conducting Portable Breath Tests.
Eight people over the age of 18 were arrested after testing positive for alcohol.
Three juveniles who tested positive for alcohol were released to their parents.
Upon entering the home officers found that those inside had been playing drinking games. They also found several empty containers of alcohol and damage to the garage.
