(JOHNSON COUNTY) - Four teens were injured Friday afternoon when their vehicle struck a tree and caught fire.
According to the Johnson County Sheriff's Office, one person ran for help and another tried to get the teens out of the car which had caught fire, 24-Hour News 8's news partner The Daily Journal reports.
The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. in the area of Centerline Road and County Road 750 S.
One teen told police the car felt funny before going around a curve prior to the crash.
All four were taken to area hospitals -- one was flown to Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health.
The crash is currently under investigation.
