(SELLERSBURG) - A jury has stated in a ruling the Sellersburg Volunteer Fire Department should pay $225,000 to the estate of 75-year-old Opal Couch.
She was killed in 2009 after her car was hit by an ambulance.
The attorney for the department says he plans to appeal claiming the ambulance had its lights and siren on and Couch was using a cell phone when the crash happened.
