(PERU) - It’s confirmed— an EF-1 tornado struck the city of Peru.
The National weather service said Thursday that the tornado that struck the north central Indiana city on Wednesday had estimated maximum wind speeds of 95 miles per hour and traveled over three miles.
Two people suffered minor injuries. Several homes and businesses were destroyed.
