(FAIRMOUNT) - A portion of the Fairmount, Indiana school where famed actor James Dean once attended has collapsed.
The southeast corner of the former Fairmount High School collapsed Wednesday.
Fairmount Clerk-Treasurer Joann Treon says more of the building collapsed during the day but then stabilized. The school was built 115 years ago.
However, Treon says the school has been closed for about 30 years.
