(PRINCETON) - The prosecutor’s office is contemplating whether to seek life without parole or the death penalty for accused murderer Jason Perry.
The Princeton Daily Clarion reports Perry allegedly gunned down 22-year-old Jesica Tice back in May, outside Los Aztecas restaurant in front of her son and mother.
At a pre-trial hearing Monday, Prosecutor Robert Krieg filed paperwork to add aggravated elements to the murder charge.
The judge also granted a motion for a psychiatric evaluation and set another pre-trial hearing for August 21st.
Perry's trial is expected to begin in September.
