(INDIANAPOLIS) - Thousands of Shriners are visiting downtown Indy this week for the 139th Annual Imperial Session of Shriners International.
The Imperial Session is what Shriners call their annual business meeting, as well as a celebration of the fraternity.
Most events are taking place at the Convention Center or the Murat Shriners building, also known as the Old National Centre.
One of the events open to the public is the Shriners Parade which gets underway tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Pennsylvania and North Streets. Of course, there will be the little bitty cars, along with big cars and motorcycles and they will also try to set a world record for the number of clowns in one place-- at one time.
