(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indianapolis police say a teenage boy was shot and killed after downtown fireworks festivities.
The boy was shot as large crowds roamed outside the Circle Center Mall. It's the same mall where police have struggled with unruly crowds of teenagers and other violence in recent months.
Officers struggled to contain yet another unruly crowd of teenagers shortly after the shooting. Several teens were arrested a short distance away from where the shooting occurred.
Police said the teens were not involved in the shooting and most were being hauled to jail for curfew violations or interfering with the police work.
