Unemployment Rises Throughout State

(UNDATED) - Indiana’s unemployment rate edged up last month, even though jobs created through the private sector grew.

The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate rose to 8.4 percent from the May rate of 8.3.

The labor force grew by almost 40,000 in June, which explains the rise in the unemployment rate, as more people were looking for work.
