(BEECH GROVE) - A Beech Grove teenager told police she was hurt by an attacker outside her home.
The 16-year-old girl says the man approached her in the backyard early Monday in the 700 block of Grovewood Drive, which is near I-465 in Beech Grove.
The girl says she fell and hit her head and the man tried to rip off her sweat pants. The girl says she managed to break free and ran to a neighbor's house to get help.
Police say they are taking the report seriously and anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Beech Grove Police Department.
