(FORT WAYNE) - A high school football player from northeastern Indiana has been upgraded to fair condition after being injured in a game.
Fort Wayne Lutheran Hospital upgraded Sam Dailey's condition from critical on Monday.
The Columbia City High School player was injured in a game Friday.
Neurosurgeon Dr. Jeffrey Kachmann tells WANE-TV Dailey suffered an acute head injury which caused a blood clot to form on his brain. He's had several surgeries to reduce swelling.
