(INDIANAPOLIS) - An Indianapolis man is facing federal charges of producing child pornography with two young children.
David Simpkins, 25, of Indianapolis, was arrested in Muncie on Aug. 17 after investigators linked pornographic images to him, United States Attorney Joe Hogsett announced Wednesday.
According to court documents, Homeland Security agents in Boston discovered a series of images depicting child pornography and traced them back to Indianapolis, where they were linked with Simpkins.
The two children depicted in the images are both under the age of 3, and the pictures indicate that the abusive acts took place in an Indianapolis home where Simpkins had been a babysitter for the children, investigators said.
Simpkins faces decades in prison if he is convicted.
