(ALBANY) - An Indiana man was arrested Wednesday after reportedly stealing mounted deer heads from a home and selling them to a pawn shop.
Steven Taylor Besser, 21, was arrested on a preliminary charge of receiving stolen property, the Muncie Star Press reported.
According to court documents, the deer heads were reported stolen Sunday.
Police found the heads at KT Pawn, and determined a cashier had taken a photo of Besser when he sold the items, according to the police report.
Court records show Besser has previously been convicted of theft, receiving stolen property and trespass.
