(WATERLOO) - The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department confirmed a small plane crashed in a cornfield in Waterloo Sunday afternoon.
According to police, the plane went down near the area of 4275 Country Road 22, which is near Walker Farms, at around 12:02 p.m.
Police said the pilot suffered minor injuries to his hands. He was transported to a local hospital via a private vehicle. The pilot was the only person on the plane, according to police.
There were no other injuries reported.
