(HARRISON CO.) - Testimony was expected to begin Tuesday in the trial of a Harrison County man accused of child molestation but it is now postponed.
After an investigation, police said 49-year-old Leo John Conley abused two family members at his home between 2003 and 2011. According to court documents, one of the victims was just six years old when the abuse started. The documents also accuse Conley of showing an 11-year-old relative pornography.
Conley faces 19 counts of felony molestation and faces 20 to 50 years for each count.
Prosecutors said the trial may be delayed until January due to witness availability.
However, there was a pre-trial hearing scheduled to see if polygraph tests are admissible in court proceedings.
