(TERRE HAUTE) - Two people appeared in court and are accused of what authorities are calling the worst case of neglect they’ve seen.
WTHI reports that Tracy and Kenneth Walling face charges of neglect and now a judge has set a trial date for them.
Child and Adult Protective Services took two children and one elderly woman from their home last week.
The Vigo County Health Department red-tagged their home last week, meaning no one can live there until it is cleaned up.
The Terre Haute Humane Society rescued 24 dogs living in the home.
Both will go before the judge in February.
