(INDIANAPOLIS) - Two people were shot Saturday - at least one is critical - and Indianapolis Metro Police say the incidents may be related.
Police received multiple calls of shots fired around 12:40 a.m. Sunday. Initially police were looking for possible shooting victims in the parking lot of a restaurant at 38th and College.
Soon, they discovered one of the victims at a house on the near west side. The man found in the 2000-block of Moreland Avenue was taken to Wishard Hospital in critical condition with a gun shot wound to the back.
Another shooting victim showed up at Methodist Hospital at about the same time. Officials say their initial investigation indicates the two incidents may be related.
Both shootings are still under investigation.
The names of the victims have not yet been released.
