(INDIANAPOLIS) - A worker was taken to the hospital after a scaffolding accident an Indiana state office building.
It happened at the Indiana Government Center Friday afternoon. The worker is a pipe fitter who was replacing pipe in a stairwell.
Indianapolis Fire Department crews deployed their rope team to rescue the worker.
A hammer or other tool fell, striking the worker in the face and causing lacerations. The worker is in stable condition.
The worker was approximately 20 feet up in a tight space. Crews worked together to deploy the system and get the man down to safety.
The man was taken to a local hospital.
