(LEBANON) - Attorneys for a former Indiana State Police trooper charged with fatally shooting his wife and two children are presenting his defense.
Attorneys for David Camm were expected began calling witnesses Tuesday in his third murder trial underway in Boone County, northwest of Indianapolis. The case has been moved there because of extensive publicity in southern Indiana, where Camm lived with his family outside Louisville, Ky.
Prosecutors rested their case Thursday, four weeks after testimony began.
Camm is accused of fatally shooting his family in September 2000 at their home about four months after he resigned from the state police. His two previous convictions were thrown out on appeal.
It's not clear whether Camm will testify in his own defense.
