(CARMEL) - A corporation’s Carmel location is about to let 54 people go as part of its efficiency process.
Frontier Communications Corporation in Carmel said it has filed notice with the state that it will lay off 54 people.
Frontier said those being let go work in collections. The company has automated part of its collections process, thus making humans redundant in part of its operations.
The layoffs will begin Nov. 14.
Frontier has roughly 14,000 employees nationwide.
