(GREENWOOD) - Greenwood Community Schools officials say Greenwood Community High School was evacuated Thursday afternoon due to a threat.
Around 2:15 p.m., students were sent to the football field due to a threat. The school dismissed students a little early. The regular school day ends at 2:30 p.m. each day.
Officials say there will not be any inside school activities Thursday night due to the threat.
Authorities were investigating the threat Thursday afternoon.
This is the third threat at a Johnson County School. The first one was made at Central Nine Career Center last Thursday. The second was made at Whiteland Community High School last Friday.
