(INDIANAPOLIS) - A man was killed Friday morning after a crane fell over onto him at work, officials said.
A spokeswoman for the Indianapolis Fire Department said a 25-year-old man was crushed when the crane tipped over onto him.
Officials have not yet released the victim's name.
Crews were called to 8905 Rawles Ave., about 11 a.m., where the company B-Mac Wireless builds cellphone towers.
Emergency responders pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The victim was using the crane to move a 5,000-pound generator, and the outriggers were not properly attached on the crane, officials said.
