(PARKE CO.) - Six people are behind bars in Parke County facing drug charges.
WTHI reports, at around 8:30 Thursday night, a tip lead state police and troopers from the Putnamville District Meth Lab Suppression Team to a rural Parke County residence.
There they found an active methamphetamine lab in the bed of a pickup truck and one in the trunk of an abandoned car, as well as just over 10 grams of finished product.
Troopers also recovered four long guns and two handguns with one of the long guns having the serial numbers filed off.
The residence was located at 6160 North Saddleclub Road in northeastern Parke County.
Arrested was 54 year old Larry Kelly of Waveland.
He's the home owner.
Also arrested was 31-year-old Jared Mashburn of Darlington, 57-year-old Roger Thayer of Crawfordsville, 27-year-old Jess Cook of Waveland, 41-year-old Greta Harri of Waveland and 51-year-old Timmy Hodges of Crawfordsville.
All six face various drug charges.
Larry Kelly also faces a felony charge for possessing a firearm with an altered serial number.
Jared Mashburn is also charged with felony possession of a firearm by a convicted violent felon.
