(INDIANAPOLIS) - An official in Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard’s administration has been named the new executive director of the Hoosier Lottery.
Gov. Mike Pence appointed Sarah Taylor on Friday. The Indianapolis Star reports that Taylor had been Ballard's director of constituent services.
Taylor will start work at the lottery office Oct. 1, replacing. Karl Browning. Pence recently appointed Browning who Pence recently appointed commissioner of the Indiana Department of Transportation.
Taylor also served for eight years as Marion County clerk.
Pence has also appointed Sean Keefer as his new legislative director. He also reappointed Tristan Vance as the director of the Office of Energy Development.
Keefer served in several positions in Gov. Mitch Daniels' administration.
