Unionville Woman Dies After Car Falls Into Lake

(UNIONVILLE) - A Unionville woman died over the weekend after her car fell into a lake, police said.

Jaquelin A. Parsons, 85, was pronounced dead at the scene after her car apparently struck a guard rail and fell into Lake Lemon.

Police said witnesses pulled Parsons from the vehicle and attempted CPR, but their efforts were unsuccessful.

Indiana conservation officers confirmed that no one else was inside the vehicle at the time of the accident.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
